Being a college student-athlete can feel overwhelming... Especially the first year you arrive on campus. Not only do you have to adjust to a new environment but new responsibilities, new routines and being on a team with new teammates.
Your typical day may look something like this... You wake up early, eat breakfast before classes, rush to campus, find time to get lunch, go to afternoon practice, grab dinner before study hall, get back to your room for homework / studying / hanging with friends and finally crawl into bed. You wake up the next day and do it all over again! You might even have a morning practice before classes. Don't forget games, travel time, team meetings and training... And on top of that, you might have part-time work or internships to add to the equation. 'Nuf said. ...You're going to be very busy. -CollegeExpress

Meet Coach Wes Green
Golden West, College Athletic Services National Coordinator / Founder
For over 20 years, Wesley Green has been an educator, coach, academic advisor and is still a student advocate on university campuses nationwide. His successful work on collegiate campuses, (University of Miami, Alcorn State University, Lane College, Cal State University Dominguez Hils, Bacone College, Hope International University and Oklahoma Christian University), stems from his time as a championship coach in high schools throughout Los Angeles County. A co-founder of the Black Coaches Association of Los Angeles (BCALA), a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Athletes in Action (AIA), he's a highly sought after keynote speaker from the west to the east coast.
As a young student athlete from "The Bricks" inner city New Jersey, Coach earned his Baccalaureate of Science degree in health sciences from Langston University in Oklahoma. That's what inspires Coach to help student athletes get to the next level. "When young people invest in themselves, we help get them the opportunities & tools they need to succeed, that's athletically and academically."
“...Bring Coach Wesley Green back. ....[He's] a brother from "The Bricks" who knows more than X's and O's. It's the truth. When I have problems, who do y'all think I call? ...Wesley Green; you're a coach, a mentor and to some of us, you're a father figure...”
